Students Moving In

Approaching my 34th Fall semester at the University of Pennsylvania and you think, by now, I would have learned not to leave the house a few minutes late on a Move-In Day.  Yes, on the 232nd day of 2019, I found myself in traffic and arrived in the office later than I wanted to.  But, I arrived on 8/20/19 smiling.  As I walked to work, I saw a bunch of new students arriving to Move-In to Penn for the very first time.  Filled with excitement, anticipation, ideas, fears, plans, and much, much more.  Tonight I am grateful for students moving in.  Remind me this tomorrow AM when I am stuck in even worse traffic since the Main Move-In Day is tomorrow.
