A Home, A Warm Home

It was cold on the 21st day of 2019 (still is, tonight!)  And I spent a lot of 1/21/19 worrying about people.  There are thousands of people living on the streets of Philadelphia and other Northeastern cities (not that the NE is the only cold region tonight).  And, I was off most of the day (Penn observes MLK as a holiday and was closed), so I was in and out of my house (for errands and appointments).  Each time I stepped out of the cold and into my warm home, I was thankful.  My gratitude is tempered, however, by my worry for the people on these streets.  As I go to bed tonight, thankful for my home, a warm home, and wish that we could live in a world where everyone can have the shelter they need.  Stay Warm, friends (if you can!)
